Engineering and product executive at ION Group, where I lead the Core Architecture Team: a 250-person organization across Pisa, India and the US. The team builds the core technology underpinning every new or re-engineered ION product and defines the methodologies and frameworks used across the Group's product development lifecycle. I report to the COO and work directly with the Group CEO on technology strategy and product direction.
The team's scope spans platform and cloud infrastructure, middleware and APIs, UI frameworks and the ION design system, data and AI, and the strategic re-engineering of products from trading and capital markets to core banking — serving both ION's divisions and external clients.
Since joining ION in 2001 I have led engineering and product across fixed-income eTrading, repo and securities lending, web and mobile platforms, and the re-engineering of ION's core banking platform, always working directly with clients.
I'm actively building in the AI space — not as an observer, but as a practitioner: multi-agent systems in production, agentic pipelines that automate engineering and business workflows end to end, and the principles for how autonomous agents are supervised and validated at enterprise scale.
